DiW has performed admirably around the UK for a good decade, has supported the likes of Errors, Trans Am, Shitmat, Polysics, Warm Digits, Necro Deathmort, wowed bozos at various unsuccessful festivals, and satisfactory alldayers.
With no two outings ever the same, DiW's Simondo Topless drags you bleeding and kicking through a tumult of Laptronica, Post-Gabba, Harsh-Psych Drone, Doomwave, Blip-Hop, Shit-Hop, Chip-Hop, Plunderphonic Glitch-Hop Sampledelia, 8-bitronica, Dubtech, Wreckstep, Fuckstep, Kronk, Blitcrush, Bootmash, Dub-Bass Splattercore, Thugstep, Powerpop, Noisewhore, and Wrongtronica, not in any order. All from his collection of souped-up, modded, hacked & cracked laptops, precariously wired together with a few guitar distortion pedals and dilapidated Midi tomfoolery.
Some performances can be a lot calmer as well, it depends on the nature of the evening. Sometimes, it's even just plinky plonky.
Here's some pop videos and sound-cloud tasters if you like.
Soundcloud embeds not working below? Shite, innit. try this direct link then.
Here's a full discography, and there are new releases coming soon. Do you want to put them out?
For those putting on particularly stupid gigs and want stupid acts, the idiot showcase that is Foist (I Was Afraid) is also possibly available. Dazzle your audience with a side dish of glib chartbuster butchery, inappropriate Mongtronics, and blood steps!
There's another couple of projects coming soon too from the same stable, but they're not quite ready yet for live performances.
Also the Dressed In Wires Super Happy Disco Soundsystem is available for your DJ needs if you need crazy songs spun twixt turns.
Take the Pain,
Here's some supplementary internet fanny-ons.
